: You are not giving enough information concerning your problem. Can you be more specific? Like what type of finish is on the table? Is the burn just in the finish or is it in the wood. Is the table wood or a plastic laminate? was there moisture on the table when the pan was place on it?
: Just a thought, if the steam from the heat created a white ring on your table here are a few ideas.
: Finish has no moisture so it had to be added. If this is the case then you might try a little alchohol on a pad applied VERY lightly make a french pad and put the alchohol on it and GENTLY wipe across the affected areas. This will often allow the trapped moisture to escape. I have found too that if I use vasoline smeared on the area overnight or two that this sometimes helps.
: I am assuming your finish is lacquer. IF IT IS SHELLAC DISREGARD!!!!!!

: : I would like to know how to get rid of the heat spots on my dining room table. There are a few spots that you can tell that hot dishes were put on them and it looks like it just sucked the moisture out of it. How do I get rid of these spots?
