Im way behind on the info.....but for anyone else looking for help on distressing....to add bumps and grooves to a new wood surface...you can either use a clean bike chain and bang it up with that...or throw a pile of nuts and bolts into a cloth bag or pillow case and hit the wood with that. make sure it's uneven and not patterned when you hit...that way it looks more authentic.
